A webinar presented by the IBA Academic and Professional Development Committee, supported by the IBA Future of Legal Services Commission.

Internships serve as a vital bridge between academic education and practical experience, equipping aspiring lawyers with the necessary skills to thrive in the profession. This webinar will explore the critical role of internships in shaping the careers of aspiring legal professionals.

Through diverse perspectives, panellists will discuss the benefits and challenges of legal internships, particularly how internships can bridge the gap between theory and practice, the benefits of internships for skill-building, such as legal research and client interaction, and addressing common challenges such as compensation and hours of work.

The panel will also discuss how to maximise the potential of internships and the future trends in legal training and mentorship, including the role technology will play.

As we are limited to 500 registrants, we request that you please only register for this event if you will be attending.
