Steve James Martin
Biography
Steven J. Martin, AIA, LEED AP is Principal in Gensler’s Washington, D.C. office and is a firmwide leader of Gensler’s Global Law Firm Practice. Steve applies more than 35 years of experience in strategic planning and design of global, national and local law firms. He is also a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. Steve led Gensler’s exhibit at ALA’s Annual Conference, “ReDesign-Law: The Legal Office of the Future.” Gensler was the recipient of the 2015 ALA IDEA Award for “the development of new practices that deliver great value and transformational impact." Steve earned his undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and his Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
