Description
Is being a well-trained legal expert enough in today’s developing legal market? What are some of the additional skills law firms are now looking for? How good are law firms at developing legal talent – do we have sufficient understanding of changing career aspirations and approaches to work? And is it just young lawyers that we need to consider in terms of changing demands? This panel will discuss some of the challenges law firm leaders see from an Asia legal talent development standpoint and how they are trying to target the needs and demands of their lawyers. The increasing use of technology, work life ‘integration’ demands and a desire for more flexible schedules will also be discussed.
