2026 Officer Elections
The call for nominations for the 2026 IBA Officer election will be issued on 6 November 2025. If there is only one candidate and a winner, the results will be announced at the IBA Council meeting on 8 November 2026. The elected officers will serve from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.
IBA Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary General); Legal Practice Division (LPD – Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary-Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer); Section on Public and Professional Interest (SPPI – Chair and Secretary-Treasurer); Bar Issues Commission (BIC – Chair and two Vice-Chairs).
