Biography

Astrid Helstone is an attorney and partner at Stibbe. She co-heads the Employment, Pensions and Incentives practice group in the Amsterdam office, the Netherlands. Her practice is built on all types of labor and employment law matters involving issues of discrimination, harrassment, works council and equal pay matters. Astrid's unparalled expertise in both employment and regulatory law make her uniquely suited to represent and counsel multinationals and financial institutions for many years in complex board remuneration and executive dismissal matters. Astrid is a permanent employment and equal treatment expert of Bureau Clara Wichmann, one of the largest key strategic litigation foundations in the Netherlands representing women rights. She currently acts in an equal pay litigation matter regarding unequal pay for female judjes and public prosecutors, together with an interdisciplinary team of her firm.
