Biography

Fernandez (a.k.a. “The Fernist”) is a legal and technology practitioner, and policy and reform advocate. He is a Partner at Tsedaqah Attorneys, a Tony Elumelu Foundation alumnus, co-founder of a LegalTech startup (wekrea8.com), and Chairman of the Technology & Law Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice. Fernandez is a member of the Strategy, Operations and Management group of the Justice in Commerce Network (JiCN - author of the Administration of Civil Justice Model Lawrecently passed in Delta and Ekiti States and currently at different stages of enactment in various states and the Federation). Fernandez is also a project manager, speaker and trainer. His core competences/interests are dispute resolution, technology and emerging trends, data protection and privacy, AI for law & law for AI, gamification of law, intellectual property, start-up advisory, robotic governance, web 3.0 and metaverse and projects. #LifeUnderConstruction
