Biography

Torsten Geißler (degree and doctorate in economics, University of Cologne), Scientific Officer at BASt (German Federal Highway Research Institute) with 25 years research and policy implementation background in Intelligent Transport Systems. Deputy Head of the Connected Mobility section, responsible for deployment of innovative technologies in collaboration of public and private partners. Active on European level a.o.in the Conference of European Directors of Roads - CEDR - Working Group CAD (Connectivity, Automation and Data), the C-Roads Platform and the CCAM Partnership.
