Biography

Gerald Reger is partner at Noerr, Germany, and heads the firm’s Corpo-rate and Transaction Practice. He further heads Noerr’s India practice and focuses on India related transactions, inbound as well as outbound. Gerald is one of the leading Corporate/M&A practitioners in Germany advising for more than 25 years on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, joint ventures and capital market transactions as well as on stock corporation and group law. In addition, Gerald advises listed companies (including DAX40) and their boards as well as large family-owned enterprises and their shareholders on structural changes, corporate governance and suc-cession as well as on shareholders and general meetings. He is lecturer for business law at Technical University Munich, School of Management, and co-author of various standard publications in the field of stock corporation and securities law. Gerald is ranked i.a. as “Global Leader” and “Thought Leader Germany” for M&A and Governance by Who’s Who Legal and as Lawyer of the Year 2020 for Capital Markets by Handelsblatt.
