Renata Steiner
Biography
Renata Steiner is a Brazilian Private Law professor, independent arbitrator, and legal expert. Before starting her own practice, Mrs. Steiner worked as counsel in two full-service law firms in São Paulo and Curitiba and as a partner of a boutique law firm in São Paulo, whose main focus lies on arbitral disputes and legal reports in Private Law matters. Mrs. Steiner’s major area of expertise relates to commercial disputes, especially commercial contracts (domestic and international), construction contracts, corporate dispute and also englobes real estate disputes and Succession Law. Within these areas, Mrs. Steiner focuses her practice in questions related to damages quantification. Mrs. Steiner has been acting constantly as chair, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator in several arbitral proceedings seated in Brazil, either as party-appointed arbitrator, by appointment of her fellow arbitrators or by the administering institution.
