Biography

Pavla is an attorney based in Prague, Czech Republic with more than 25 years of experience predominantly in corporate/M&A, real estate, insolvency and restructuring, assisting large, mid-sized and start-up clients on a broad range of matters in connection with entering Czech as well other markets within the CEE region. She has been involved in many cross-border multi-jurisdictional transactions and served to many clients as the key coordinator of legal services within the Central European region. For 25 years Pavla was an equity partner of PETERKA & PARTNERS, Central and Eastern European integrated law firm, which she joined at the moment of its foundation. In a prestigious survey published by Euro weekly magazine, she was ranked among the TOP 100 Women of the Czech Legal Business three times in a row (2023, 2024 and 2025) in the M&A, Corporate & Private Equity category. She has been a member of IBA since 2016 and has been actively involved with the European Regional Forum Diversity & Inclusion Working Party, of which she was the Vice-Chair and Chair in 2023-4. At the same time, she also served as the Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the IBA European Regional Forum. In 2020-2024 Pavla served as the Chair of the Board of International Lawyers Network (worldwide association of independent law firms). She has full working proficiency in English, French and Czech (native).
