Carsten Woehrn
Biography
Carsten Woehrn heads J.P. Morgan's Financial Sponsors / Private Equity M&A franchise in EMEA, and is a Managing Director in J.P. Morgan’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He is also the Global Co-Chair of the firm‘s Fairness Opinion and Valuation Committee. Carsten is based in London. Prior to his current responsibilities, he built and headed J.P. Morgan’s Infrastructure M&A EMEA franchise and spent more than a decade in J.P. Morgan’s North America M&A Group in New York, where he focused on originating and executing North American and cross-border infrastructure and financial sponsor transactions, with a particular focus on energy, transportation, services and healthcare. Before New York, Carsten was based in London where he joined the firm in early 2000 as a member of the EMEA Diversified Industries Investment Banking Coverage team. Carsten holds a Master in European Management, a Diplôme de Grande Ecole and the Diplom-Kaufmann from EAP (European School of Management), as well as BA in accounting, finance and economics from the University of Brest, France. He is fluent in German, English and French. He is married and has one daughter.
