Biography

Taeko Suzuki is a Japan qualified attorney who heads the India desk and is a partner of the Asia practice group of Nishimura & Asahi, a Japan-based law firm with 22 offices worldwide. Taeko supports major Japanese and multinational corporations investing into and doing business in Asian countries, with a special focus on large size cross-border investment strategy advice backed by compliance risk management, including anti-bribery and anti-competition risks, and dispute resolution expertise. Her recent activities include advising on Japan-related mega infrastructure projects, such as the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project, road, commercial and residential real estate development and solar projects.
