Biography

Filip works as a Data Protection Officer at Ingka Group / IKEA Retail. Previously he has worked on privacy matters in a variety of roles since 2014, including within the legal department of public tax authority, at the data protection service of the EU Parliament and as a consultant at Deloitte Luxembourg. Filip also previously worked as EU Privacy Manager for a leading insurance company, where he oversaw the privacy strategy, responded to privacy inquiries and implemented/monitored privacy programs. Filip holds a Master of Law from New Bulgarian University (Sofia) and a Master’s in Law and Technology from Tilburg University.
