Estanislao Olmos
Biography
Mr. Estanislao Olmos is a partner in the General Corporate and M&A Department of the Firm. His practice focuses on Corporate law, with particular expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures involving both public and private companies. He has vast experience in antitrust issues and regularly represents acquirers, targets, boards of directors, investors, and shareholder groups in complex domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions. Likewise, he has significant experience in participating in restructuring matters, whether court-related or outside of courts. Mr. Olmos has been regularly recognized in his field of practice for several consecutive years by Chambers and Partners, currently distinguished as Band 1 in the Corporate/M&A practice. Additionally, he is renowned by The Legal 500 as a Leading Individual in the Corporate and M&A practice and as a Recommended Lawyer in the Life Sciences practice, and by IFLR1000 as a Highly Regarded practitioner. He has also been awarded twice with the Client Choice Award in M&A (Argentina) by International Law Office and Lexology. He holds a law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (1998) and an LL.M. from Columbia University (2003), where he also served as President of the Columbia Latin American Business Law Association (2002-2003). Mr. Olmos was a foreign associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, New York, during 2003-2004. Currently, he represents the firm before the International Bar Association (IBA) alongside Javier Rodríguez Galli.
