Carlos Amunategui Perello

Biography

Carlos Amunátegui Perelló has a PhD in Patrimonial Law from the Pompeu Fabra University, and is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has been a visiting professor at Osaka and Columbia universities, has published more than one hundred and fifty scientific articles in various high-impact scientific journals and seven monographs on Roman and civil law, legal theory and new technologies. He recently directed the first Dogmatic Historical Commentary on Book IV of the Civil Code of Chile (Valencia, 2023). He participated in the design of the constitutional reform that introduced Neurorights to the Chilean Constitution and the corresponding law
