Fergal Cathie has a track record of more than 25 years in handling complex commercial and professional liability disputes, and leading the defence of regulatory investigations and prosecutions, with a particular focus on the law firm sector. He is a trusted adviser to some of the top UK and global law firms in the defence of malpractice claims and involving issues of ethical and professional responsibility, navigating parallel civil and regulatory processes and advising on problematic compliance issues, as well as defending claims which cross jurisdictional borders.
