Biography

Fernanda Barroso is a Regional Managing Director at Kroll’s Forensic Investigations and Intelligence practice for Latam and Chair of the Latam Management Committee. She joined the firm in 2015 and, prior to this period, worked in strategic consulting and financial sector companies, on projects that include go-to-market strategy, business internationalization, due diligence, business plan, segment and product development, risk assessment, regulatory assessment, among others. Fernanda leads complex, multi-jurisdictional forensic investigations involving components such as financial analysis, anti-corruption assessments and litigation support. She has a track record of conducting fraud investigations and crisis management projects involving public and private sector, local and international entities. Fernanda has a graduate degree in economics and financial engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is now specializing in data science and artificial intelligence applied to fraud detection.
