Klaus Friesenbichler
Biography
Klaus Friesenbichler is Deputy Director of the Supply Chain Intelligence Institute Austria (ASCII) and Senior Economist at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO). His research interests include economic integration, industrial economics and policy. He holds a PhD in economics and teaches development economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). He is a former World Bank staff member and has been a visiting scholar at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies Pisa (Italy), the University of Sheffield (UK) and the Ratio Institute (Sweden). He has worked in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa, consulted with national and international institutions, and his work has been published in a wide range of academic journals.
