Anthony Casey
Biography
Tony Casey is Donald M. Ephraim Professor of Law and Economics at The University of Chicago Law School. He is also the Faculty Director of the Law School’s Center on Law and Finance. His research and teaching examine the intersection of finance and law, covering topics including corporate governance, bankruptcy, and litigation finance. Before entering academics, Professor Casey was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focused on corporate bankruptcy, merger litigation, and securities litigation. Professor Casey received his JD, with High Honors in 2002 from The University of Chicago Law School.
