Biography

Ugo Ukabam currently serves as Director/Senior Counsel - Labor & Employment Law for General Mills, Inc. Prior to joining General Mills, Ugo was a Partner at the Minnesota law firm of Gray Plant Mooty Mooty & Bennett P.A, and the first racial minority female to achieve that status in the firm’s over 140-year history at the time. Ugo has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Before relocating to the United States, Ugo worked for Mobil Producing Nigeria, Unlimited (now ExxonMobil), and Diamond Bank, Plc., in Lagos, Nigeria. She has an LL.M., from the Harvard Law School; J.D., from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law; and LL.B., from the University of Nigeria.
