Biography

Natalia Ruiz has devoted her entire professional journey to Repsol, a multinational energy corporation. With a background in industrial engineering, she commenced her career as a process engineer at the Petronor refinery, where she gained invaluable insights into technology operation and scaling within industrial settings. Following this role, she transitioned to Madrid, holding diverse positions across Repsol's planning, business development, and strategy divisions within its industrial sector. Over the past decade, her focus has centered on innovation, technology, and investments in tech companies. She specializes in providing support to portfolio companies, aiding them in overcoming hurdles in technology development and scaling. One year ago, she departed Repsol to spearhead NET ZERO VENTURES, a venture capital fund with a focus on impact investing. The fund targets climate tech companies, aiming to decarbonize both the mobility and industrial sectors. It seeks out entrepreneurs with innovative technologies and solutions capable of industrial-scale implementation, transforming them into profitable and sustainable ventures that drive societal impact.
