Biography

Beatriz is a seasoned lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. She has served as in-house regulatory counsel for several telecommunications companies in Brazil, and has also had the opportunity to work at other renowned law firms during her career. Prior to becoming a partner at Mundie Advogados, Beatriz participated in several radio frequency bidding processes with ANATEL, which culminated in the significant expansion of 4G Claro S.A. between 2012 and 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Beatriz held the position of Legal Director at Viasat, where she secured an important orbital launch positions for the Viasat-3 satellite. In 2023, Beatriz assumed the position of Head of Regulatory at Mundie Advogados, where she assists telecommunications clients from Brazil, Europe, and the United States in the satellite, mobile, broadband, and other segments. Beatriz holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Lisbon and is currently a PhD candidate in Law and Economics at the same university.
