Biography

Elaine is a partner in the Financial Institutions Group in Matheson LLP, specialising in insurance. Elaine provides a full-range of advisory and transactional legal services to domestic and international insurance and reinsurance companies and insurance intermediaries. She regularly advices insurance clients on complex governance and regulatory compliance matters, corporate transactional and restructuring work. She has significant experience advising life and non-life insurance aggregators and private equity investors on their European acquisitions.
