Biography

Ruth Duque is a specialist in advising on corporate and regulatory matters, as well as insurance claims in the insurance and reinsurance industry. As a former deputy director of the Spanish Directorate-General of Insurance and Pension Funds, she has extensive experience working with prominent national and international clients on various transactions such as M&A, bancassurance alliances, reinsurance agreements, portfolio assignments, reorganizations, and other corporate matters. Ruth also provides expert advice to insurance and reinsurance companies on insurance claims, in complex matters. Ruth is a member of the Professional Association of State Insurance Inspectors and is registered in the Official Auditors Registry (not practicing). She is also a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
