Biography

Lukas Gilhofer is head of the litigation and arbitration department of the Liechtenstein and Zurich based law firm Schwärzler Attorneys at law. He has extensive experience in multinational dispute resolution cases including insurance law matters. Currently Lukas’ firm has launched several claims against insurance companies in Liechtenstein to recover funds from Liechtenstein insurance products. Due to his degrees in law and economics he combines profound knowledge of both areas in his practice. His economic understanding helps him to understand in depths the functioning of complex insurance products. Lukas is admitted to the bar in Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria. He is a member of various lawyer associations worldwide and regular lecturer at the University of Liechtenstein.
