Biography

For more than 30 years, I have been analyzing, writing, and speaking about the global capital markets. In my current position, I also work with companies and some funds in managing three risks: foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity prices. I have a Master's in American history (when there was less of it) and a Master's in international political economy. I have written two books, "Making Sense of the Dollar" and "Political Economy of Tomorrow," and am working on a third book. I enjoy teaching, but have not had my own class since before Covid, though I still guest lecture, when the opportunity arises.
