Biography

Scott Schachter is a Vice President, Investment Strategist covering US Retail and Institutional Core business. Prior to joining AB, Scott was a member of a fixed income-focused team at CIFC Asset Management, responsible for strategy, investment decisions, and portfolio management. Scott also worked at Barclays as both a strategist and a fundamental analyst covering the corporate credit asset classes. In addition, Scott has also worked at a global macro hedge fund, focused on the rates and credit markets. Scott has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
