Biography

Dr Noemi Magugliani is a Research Fellow in Anti-Trafficking Law and Policy at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) and a Lecturer in Law at the University of Kent. They have also acted as Senior Legal Advisor to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, with a focus on non-punishment and forced criminality, and worked with the Council of Europe’s Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA), with a focus on forced labour and access to asylum.
