Biography

Karin Schwab is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for eBay’s global Product, Technology and Growth organizations, holding oversight for legal work related to eBay’s global sites as well as its payments and advertising businesses. Prior to that she served as executive for eBay in the Americas and Europe. As an international business executive and non-executive board member, Karin delivers value through over 20 years of global leadership across digital technology, platform business and e-commerce. She has a strong track record in global and multicultural corporate structures. Her ability to influence across distributed teams, bringing stakeholders along and helping them understand each other are key strengths. She enjoys fast-paced environments with interesting and hard problems to solve, changing priorities and possibilities for failure. She also serves on the eBay Commerce Inc. board of directors, USA, and of the International Advisory Board of ZHAW School of Management and Law, Switzerland. Karin used to serve on the board of Valora, Switzerland, and the Nomination Committee of Adevinta, Norway.
