Biography

Luis Enrique is counsel at Von Wobeser y Sierra. He has more than seventeen years of experience in Tax matters, including tax & administrative litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and consulting. His practice is focused on the resolution of tax and administrative controversies. He has significant experience in litigating complex matters before federal and state courts, as well as in constitutional actions before the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice, representing both domestic and foreign clients in a wide range of sectors and industries. Luis Enrique has remarkable experience in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms (ADRs) for tax matters. Additionally, he offers tax law consulting as part of multidisciplinary teams for different types of transactions, including M&A, financing arrangements, investment vehicles and fund formation. He obtained his law degree, magna cum laude, from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and a master’s degree in tax law from Universidad Panamericana. Diploma in “Practical Aspects Of International Taxation And Transfer Pricing”, Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo De México (ITAM), Mexico City.
