Biography

Shameer is a Partner at Trilegal and is part of the firm’s Disputes practice. His wide experience in dispute resolution extends to commercial litigation, arbitration, real estate litigation, labour and employment disputes and criminal law. As an experienced arguing counsel, he regularly appears before various fora and provides end to end representation and advise to clients in different contentious situations. He has successfully defended and prosecuted arbitrations concerning breach and enforcement of contracts, construction disputes relating to large infrastructure and public utility projects, real estate disputes and employment disputes. He regularly appears before arbitral tribunals, high courts, and other judicial forums, advising and arguing on disputes arising from large-scale infrastructure and public utility projects. He has handled complex cases involving delay claims, cost overruns, performance guarantees, and breach of contractual obligations, delivering favorable outcomes for clients. His strategic approach combines a deep understanding of technical aspects of infrastructure projects with strong advocacy skills to navigate high-stakes disputes effectively.
