Biography

As the founder and principal of KC Branch Firm PC, an international law firm, I have dedicated over 25 years to providing trial, licensing, and transactional legal services to clients across the wine, spirits, cannabis, and sports industries. Representing clients from every continent (except Antarctica), I am proud to be a California State Bar member and an A-V rated attorney for over 20 years. I also enjoy engaging and inspiring audiences as a professional speaker on topics related to wine, cannabis, and alcohol law. At KC Branch Firm, we take a strategic, big-picture approach to legal challenges, emphasizing risk management, innovative solutions, and client satisfaction. With a network of of-counsel attorneys and partnerships with leading law firms in the U.S. and Europe, we handle complex, multifaceted cases worldwide. My areas of expertise include contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and criminal matters affecting the alcoholic beverage, cannabis, and entertainment industries. I am deeply passionate about wine, cannabis, and alcohol law, with a particular focus on combating counterfeit products, navigating regulatory issues, and fostering careers in these industries. I grew up in Los Angeles, and attended Loyola High School, USC, and Loyola Law School, all in Downtown Los Angeles.
