Biography

Ms. Shafaq Uraizee Sapre is the Managing Partner of the Mumbai office of Chandhiok and Mahajan- one of the fastest growing full-service law firms in India. She is recognized as one of the top 30 female lawyers in India by ALB in 2023-2024. She has over 24 years of experience and her practice includes a variety of domestic and cross border transactions with a focus on providing an integrated solution to clients. She has advised and assisted several Indian and foreign clients in forming joint ventures and technology and strategic collaborations and advised them from an Indian legal and regulatory perspective. Her focus areas are Mergers and Acquisition, Joint Ventures, Private Equity, Technology Collaborations, setting up of operations in India, general commercial and general corporate laws. She has spoken at several international conferences on M&A, JV and technology transactions.
