Biography

Hanneke De Coninck (1977) is a lawyer and partner at Florent, a boutique firm in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, focusing on insolvency & restructuring, corporate/M&A and corporate and commercial litigation. She is co-managing partner of the firm and co-heads the insolvency & restructuring practice group. Hanneke is a specialist in the field of companies in financial distress. She advises and litigates on (international) insolvency law, financing, securities and directors’ liability. Hanneke is on the A-list of Amsterdam Court and a such regularly appointed as administrator and bankruptcy trustee. As insolvency practitioner and advisor Hanneke has been involved in high-profile insolvencies and complex restructurings. She also works as investigator for the Netherlands Enterprise Court at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal (Ondernemingskamer). Hanneke has a seat in the Review Committee of INSOLAD (the Dutch association of insolvency lawyers), she is a board member of the Dutch Turnaround Association and she is an editorial member of the Journal for insolvency practitioners (Tijdschrift voor Curatoren).
