Biography

Pedro Hinojo is Head of the Information Society Unit in the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) since September 2021. The unit is in charge of competition policy enforcement in the areas of digital markets, telecommunications, media, intellectual property and other services. From 2014 to 2021 he worked in the Advocacy Department of CNMC, focused on digital markets and in general aspects of the promotion of the culture of competition and compliance. Previously, he had worked in the Ministry of Economic affairs in areas related to sectoral studies, economic policy, structural reforms and economic analysis. He holds a Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Economic Analysis
