Biography

Zineb HAMZI is the Managing Partner of DS-HAMZI LAW FIRM (Member od DS AVOCATS GROUP). She is Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law, from the University of Law, Economics and Political Science, Aix-Marseille III, France; She also holds the Diploma of Higher Specialized Studies (DESS) in Transport Law and the Diploma of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Insurance Law –Aix-Marseille III, France. Maître Zineb HAMZI is accredited by the Moroccan Court of Cassation and authorized to carry out real estate transactions; Maitre Zineb Hamzi is also accredited by ICC MOROCCO as arbitrator and by the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of Paris, as a mediator. More than 25 years ago, Zineb Hamzi founded one of the first business law firms in Morocco with an international dimension and the particularity of being headed by a woman. Zineb HAMZI quickly positioned herself as a leader in the negotiation and legal structuring of cross-border M&A transactions as well as in the development of major projects for the Moroccan economy and, more generally, for the regional economy in the EMEA zone. She is recognized as one of the few Moroccan lawyers able to conduct M&A transactions involving legal entities based on 5 continents and a multitude of applicable laws. At the head of the firm, she won the Trophée d'Or for the best business law firm in Morocco, awarded by Leaders League. For several years now, Zineb Idrissia Hamzi has been listed as a "leading business lawyer in Morocco" by CHAMBERS GLOBAL GUIDE.
