Moria Tam-Harshoshanim

Biography

Moria Tam-Harshoshanim is a senior partner with over 25 years of experience, and Head of Herzog’s market-leading Labour & Employment department, overseeing all its operations. Moria is a widely recognised authority in the field of labour law in Israel. She regularly provides ongoing labour law guidance to the biggest domestic and international names active in the Israeli market, both on day-to-day employment matters and ongoing labour law guidance to diverse clients across all sectors, including private, public, local and international, and spanning various industries, such as hi-tech, banking and manufacturing. Moria is also a trusted advisor on various complex strategic matters, such as negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, litigation (including the representing of individuals), class actions, mediation and arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, and organisational changes and privatisations. Her diverse experience includes handling negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and advising public entities undergoing organisational changes and privatisation processes. In addition, Moria provides legal opinions on complex labour and employment law questions as well as crisis management in the field of labour relations, pensions, implementation of new legislation and compliance, and the interface of labour law with other areas of law that are especially consequential to client, such as privacy protection law. Moria also represents clients in employment related disputes in various courts and tribunals. Recently, Moria has led the representation of prominent names like Wolt, 888 PLC, Nvidia, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), DXC, Vishay Israel Ltd., Hazera Seeds, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., Flex, McKinsey, Marvel, COGNYTE, the Israel Airport Authority, among many other in all aspects of Israeli labour law, as further described below. Finally, Moria is a thought leader who played a central role in Herzog's efforts to keep its clients informed of the continually emerging emergency legislation introduced during the ongoing Iron Swords War. She is a sought-after speaker in webinars and conferences, who lectures and leads training sessions in various professional organisations, such as the Israel Bar Association and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, as well as the organiser of a series of annual conferences dedicated to global employment matters in association with international firms. Finally, she also leads the Labour department’s ESG practice.
