Biography

MARCO FERRARI CEO ILLVA SARONNO HOLDING Marco Ferrari has developed a nearly thirty-year international experience within leading companies in the Food and Beverage industry, managing the development of some of the largest premium brands. After twelve years in the Bacardi Limited Group, covering various Marketing and Trade Marketing roles both at local (Italy and UK) and global level, he worked for Branca International as Director of Strategic Development, Marketing and Trade Marketing and then Stoli Group, a leading global vodka company, with the dual role of Global Chief Marketing Officer and Director of the North America region. He then became CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Gruppo Montenegro, a leading company in the Spirits and Food sectors. In September 2024, he was nominated CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Illva Saronno Holding, that operates in the Spirits, Wines and Ice-cream ingredients sectors and is the owners of iconic Disaronno brand. He has spent a significant part of his career working in privately-owned businesses close to entrepreneurs and he has developed the ability to balance the entrepreneurial approach with discipline, vision, and focus. Marco sits on the Executive Committee of Federvini, the Italian Federation of Industrial Producers, Exporters and Importers of Wines and Spirits and he is Vice-Chair of the British School of Milan. He is also Visiting Lecturer as Corporate Professor and member of the Italian campus founding team of ESCP-EAP university. Marco is married to Maddalena, and they have two children. He is passionate about travelling, music, tennis and skiing.
