Biography

Mr. Kenta SUZUKI, graduated University of Tokyo and joined Japan Fair Trade Commission in 2003. After experienced various posts such as Deputy Director of the Planning Office in the Investigation Bureau, Attaché of the Mission of Japan to the European Union in Brussels, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Division, Senior Officer for M&A, and Senior Planning Officer of the Coordination Division, he has been assigned to Director of the Consultation and Guidance Office since July, 2024 working on consultation cases from businesses and trade associations. He also has been assigned to Chief Green Officer since September, 2024 to work actively on competition law and climate change issues. From 2006 to 2008, he obtained master's degrees (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center in the United States.
