Biography

Samuel Morgan, Director, is EMEA Head of Alternatives Tax at BlackRock, responsible for the tax affairs of all of BlackRock's Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credit and Hedge Fund products across EMEA, including product design and investment structuring. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr Morgan spent six years with Ernst & Young LLP within the firm's Financial Services Tax practice. During this time, he focused on the structuring of alternative investment funds across a variety of asset classes for clients ranging from boutique start-ups to large international managers. Mr Morgan holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Oxford University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
