Ignacio Zapiola
Biography
Mr. Zapiola’s practice focuses on complex transnational disputes in Latin America. He also has experience in mining and oil & gas transactional matters. Mr. Zapiola joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2011. Previously, he was an associate at PAGBAM in Buenos Aires. Additional work experience includes The Walt Disney Company (Latin America) in 2004-05, and the United Nations and the American Arbitration Association, both in New York, in 2007-08. Mr. Zapiola received his law degree, Diploma de Honor, from the University of Buenos Aires in 2007 and a postgraduate degree in oil & gas law also from the University of Buenos Aires in 2009. He also received an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2011, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
