Biography

Paolo Catallozzi has been a judge since 1996. He is currently a judge of the Italian Supreme Court. Previously he was judge of the Court of Rome (2012-2017), where he dealt, among other things, with proceedings concerning industrial property, copyright and competition law (many of his judgements have been published in major law journals). He also has worked as judge attached at the legislative office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and as deputy head of the Ministry of Economic Development (2004-2011), as well as an official of the Bank of Italy (1994-1996). He teaches civil law and intellectual property law at post graduate law schools. He has been a speaker at various conferences on industrial property and enterprise law in general
