Maarten Van Buuren
Biography
Maarten has been an attorney-at-law ("advocaat") since 1995, and is an experienced coprorate litigator and advisor, a creative thinker, and an expert in commercial contracting and M&A. He joined WLP-Law in 2013. He is a non-executive director ('supervisory board member') at Portwise (TBA Consultany BV) (The Hague-area). Since 2013 Maarten has been appointed 'Lecturer Corporate Law' (assistent professor) at Leiden University in the Netherlands (Institute for Private Law, Corporate Law Department) for one day a week. He has various publications to his name, most recently the manual on Company Transfer (M&A) (in Dutch: "Bedrijfsovername"), published in October 2023.
