Biography

I am the Global Co-Chair of the International Arbitration Practice at Latham & Watkins. My practice is focused on the resolution of international disputes through arbitration and litigation. I represent clients based in Europe, Asia, the U.S., Latin America and other regions, operating in a wide range of industries and sectors, in arbitrations seated throughout the world and administered by all leading arbitral institutions. I also represent clients in international litigation matters in U.S. courts, often involving efforts to enforce, or resist enforcement of, international arbitral awards. In addition to my work as counsel, I sit regularly as an arbitrator in international disputes. I am a frequent writer and speaker on international arbitration and litigation, and have been recognized by clients and peers as a leader in the field of international arbitration by publications such as Chambers Global, Chambers USA, Who's Who Legal, Legal 500, Best Lawyers in America, Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration, PLC Which Lawyer?, New York SuperLawyers and Legal Media Group’s The Best of the Best.
