Biography

Serge Gijrath is endowed professor of technology and telecommunications at the eLaw center at Leiden University. Serge combines his appointment with a job as a partner at the law firm C-Legal in Amsterdam. He holds two masters, one in international law and international relations, one in private law and an advanced master from the European University Institute. In 2006 he defended his dissertation. His research areas are: international technology and telecommunications law and contracts, blockchain and software licensing, interoperability, innovation & standardisation, information and network security, electronic contracting, ICT and telecommunications disputes.
