Biography

Jan Bogaert is a corporate M&A partner at Stibbe in Brussels. He specializes in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance, with a special emphasis on FDI, cross-border transactions and transactional real estate. Jan is in charge of the China practice of his firm and has significant experience in China-Benelux transactions. A Brussels native, Jan has lived and worked in Paris, London, New York and Hong Kong, thus adding sound international experience to his transactional expertise. Jan has served on the board of various civic and industry organisations, including the Belgian Venture Capital Association, Immobilia, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
