Biography

Tim Lord QC is a senior member of Brick Court Chambers, having practised for 25 years at the London Bar (10 as a QC). He concentrates on all forms of commercial disputes, both Court and Arbitration, in England and internationally. Tim has become a market leader for large-scale, high value and high profile trials and appellate briefs. In the last year, Tim has acted for: - Goldman Sachs in an $850M dispute in the Supreme Court - PAG in a LIBOR banking test case in the Court of Appeal (v RBS) - Candy Brothers in their successful defence at trial of a claim by Holyoake - Bank St Petersburg defending a $500M counterclaim by Arkhangelsky - the Leipzig Water Authority (KWL) in successfully resisting UBS's appeal to the CA in $450M claim
