Biography

John is a managing director in the Financial Institutions Group within the Investment Banking Division, where he is the Chief Operating Officer and executes mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring transactions for banks, insurers and asset managers across Europe. John is also responsible for coordinating client coverage efforts for financial institutions in EMEA. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an associate and was named managing director in 2011. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, John worked at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. John earned a BCIT in International Commerce and German from University College Dublin and an MSc in Finance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
