Biography

Lorraine is one of the UK's most experienced specialists in crisis communication and reputation management in policing, security and government. She has handled some of the UK's biggest crises including 7/7, 21/7 and the Boxing Day tsunami during her time with the Metropolitan Police Service. In the Home Office, she led government communication for the London 2012 Olympics security operation, working across government, all of UK policing and the military as well as the security and intelligence agencies. Now an independent consultant, Lorraine continues to advise policing and government as well as the private sector on critical communication issues including counter-terrorism and cyber crisis planning, with her plans used to manage the latest terrorism incidents in London. She also exercises senior police officers and national media to prepare for major incidents.
