Biography

Barbara Pozzo was born in Calcutta (India) on 7 april 1964. 1989 Law Degree at the the Law School of the University of Milan 1989-1993 Ph.D. in Comparative Law - University of Florence 2001 Full Professor of Private Comparative Law - University of Insubria – Law School of Como 2008 Titular Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law 2015 Director of the Department of La, Economics and Cultures at the Unmiversity of Insubria – Como 2017 Director Ph.D Program in Law and Humanities Since 2013: Coordinator of various postgraduate programs in Fashion Law (University of Insubria, Milan and Florence) Since 2016: Member of the Jury of the Italian Istituto di Aautodisciplina Pubblicitaria. Visiting Professor at various Universities among which: Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft II of Hamburg (Germany), University of California – Law School at Boalt Hall, Faculté de Droit I di Montpellier (France) , Lousiana State University , Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo).
